Tellavision is one of those artists I discovered after seeing them live. Back then she had just released the electronic pop album The Third Eye. After that she recorded an amazing split-single with Hamburg-based saz player Derya Yildirim, called “Hayda”. Tellavision is from Berlin herself and her latest effort is an experimental album called Add Land. Single “Salty Man” is among the most accessible tracks on the record, with the remainder building on mesmerising rhythms that land in a soundscape similar to that of J. McFarlane’s Reality Guest’s highly praised Ta Da. One of my favourites is the closing instrumental track “Talking to Myself”. The LP is out on Bureau B.
