German DJ Alexander Dorn makes music as Credit 00 while also running the Rat Life label. Following last year’s excellent Beats For the Streets 12″ on Mechatronica he’s now back with another one for Pinkman (they released a Credit 00 record three years ago). On Protest Love Songs, Dorn’s fascination with 90s street culture is still evident and opening track “New Tech Swing” handles its dark electronics with swagger. The vinyl is out at the end of the month, but preorder tomorrow to take advantage of bandcamp Friday.
