Italian label Awry who specialise in minimal techno have just released a new EP by Hattori Hanzō from Girona, Spain. Named after the 16th century samurai, this artist had a record out on Scottish label Edit Select not long ago but is already back with Quantum Mechanics. The 5-track EP is a fairly long trip through cold electro-leaning techno where titles such as “Radiation Problem” speak strongly towards the atmosphere generated. The quieter moments (like “Cathode Rays”) are even more spooky.
