My favourite reissues of this year have by far been the Jyl LP and the Coldreams one on the (mostly) reissue label Camisole. The French label released Don’t Cry: Complete Recordings 1984-1986 by the post-punk band that was formed in 1984 in Clermont-Ferrand university by six young students. They released one 45 on Rock Hardi that is now highly sought-after by coldwave fans, although some copies turned up recently thanks to the guitar player. If you want to own these songs on vinyl, you’ll have get both the single (out last year) and the new reissue of the Crazy Night tape from 1985. But I guess it’s nice to have the original formats. The Wake obsessives watch out.
