It’s been almost a year since we wrote about Melbourne group Eggy’s latest release. But recently Spoilsport Records (whose founder Sam Lyons also plays in Eggy) announced that the group will be releasing their debut album Bravo! in November. Along with the announcement, first single ”Johnny Whoop” was released. With vocals from Zoe Monk (also in U-Bahn) it is a great example of the group’s arty pop with careening rhythms that owes as much to Sparks as it does to Pavement.
