Optic Sink

Optic Sink is new moniker of Natalie Hoffmann, a Memphis artist who might be more well-known as the frontperson of NOTS. The project started 4-5 years ago with some songs written on synthesisers and a drum machine. On the upcoming full-length album on Goner, Hoffmann is joined by Ben Bauermister (once of the brilliant Magic Kids). The duo make minimal synth tunes on a DIY ethic, as you can hear on “Personified”. You can also check out the old demos of “Vanishing Point” and “Soft Quiet Life” that sound scruffy but fresh. The selftitled LP is out in early October.
