Orden is a new label from Berlin that started as a booking agency and the designers of a small collection of clothing. Their first release came out a few weeks ago and it’s an EP from Swiss artist S S S S. Excess of Signs and Meaning consists of four tracks spanning techno to industrial and is the latest in a long line of releases from Samuel Savenberg, who is also a member of the more accessible German group Die Selektion. This project feels a lot more relevant today and is also more prone to experimentation, as on the mostly non-rhythmic “Spark”. The EP was preceded by the minialbum Purity and Precarity that came out on LA label Chondritic Sound in February.
