SDH

Against Strong Thinking is the new minialbum from Barcelona duo SDH. SDH, or Semiotics Department of Heteronyms, released their first album in 2018. The new record also came out Avant!, on Valentine’s Day, and is packed with synthpop whose chilling female vocals take centre stage. “Four Arms” is as good as New Order with a hangover. You could call this coldwave but I feel like the focus here is on the melodies even though the production is equally pristine. Watch the video for the EBM-inspired “No Miracles”.
