Scopic

Last week American label Shelflife released a digital-only single by Scopic. The two songs making up the release are originally from 1999 when Robert Gerard Pietrusko was also playing in Brooklyn group Mahogany. Today Pietrusko is a designer and composer and he was recently able to recreate these songs from an old sketchbook. “Vide Infra” is a meditative piece of pop music verging on ambient, while “Vide Supra” goes slightly more balearic on the synthesisers.
