It’s been awhile since we last heard from The Living Eyes out of Melbourne. Their new single “Peak Hour Traffic” is an ode to congestion and the frustrations it might lead to. These lyrics are coupled with car horns an off-kilter guitar line that just makes me want to play the a-side over and over again. You’ll have to wait to hear b-side “Almanac” until next week when the single is officially out on Anti Fade (and on Episode Sounds in Japan, where the band is doing a 10-day tour).
